Stewart "Stu" Beggs is a recurring character in the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh seasons of Californication. He is a big Hollywood producer known by many women for his large penis. Between the fourth and fifth seasons he is married to Marcy Runkle, only for her to divorce him between season five and six.
He is first introduced in episode one of season 4, while at the meeting to discuss the movie Fucking and Punching.
Stew is an obvious caricature portrait based on prolific producer Shep Gordon, featured in the documentary, “Supermensche: The Legend of Shep Gordon”.
